Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing cyber defence strategies to protect organisational assets from cyber threats.
• Monitor and analyse security alerts and events to detect potential security breaches or vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to determine the efficacy of current security procedures. 
• Assist with incident response tasks, such as investigating security incidents and executing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and regulatory standards.
• Document methods, procedures, and findings to facilitate knowledge exchange and continual development.

Required Skills: 

• A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and frameworks, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Effective verbal and writing communication abilities, including the ability to express technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
