At PayPal, Experience Designers play an important role in steering teams toward customer-centric solutions throughout the product development process. This entails using data and research to inform design ideas and decision-making processes. Our designers are expert storytellers, attentive listeners, tech enthusiasts, and masters of their craft, starting with the right questions and ending with refined deliverables.
In this role, you will advocate for customer needs, help with project execution in complex or strategic product domains, and develop a strong network across domains and cross-functional teams. You'll be in charge of onboarding merchants, driving product and service activation, and making recommendations—all while staying true to merchant intent and providing tangible value to small businesses worldwide.

Your Day-to-Day
- Proactively identify customer problems and help to define their needs.
- Interpret insights to help shape product strategies.

- Handle complex projects independently from start to finish.

What You Need to Bring
- Experience designing products and platforms, including native apps, with an emphasis on both consumer and enterprise experiences, as well as system design.
- Knowledge or expertise in financial services or related fields is advantageous.
- Proficiency with standard design and prototyping tools like Figma, Miro, Asana, and similar platforms.
- Demonstrated curiosity and a passion for provoking what's possible, delighting our customers, and driving impact.
