Analysts contribute to the development of Slice's credit and business strategies by providing analysis-ready data and extracting insights from it to assist businesses in making data-driven decisions. As a key team member, you collaborate closely with the leadership, growth, credit, and product teams to support and implement analytics-driven business growth strategies.

What You will do:

• First and foremost, use first principles thinking, data, and analytical skills to generate actionable business insights in order to drive high business impact and enable great customer experience. 
• Using Descriptive (data visualizations and BI), Inquisitive (root cause analysis), and Prescriptive analytics (assisting businesses with insights and recommendations) to help drive effective problem solving at scale 
• Collaborate with functional leaders, Strategic Business Partners, and the Leadership team (across Growth, Retention, Fraud, Ops, etc.) to understand, breakdown, and define business problems. 
• Create effective solutions by conducting comprehensive reporting and generating actionable insights to solve complex business problems and enable strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience solving various business problems and providing insights to drive significant business impact.
• Experience with databases and scripting languages (Advanced SQL, Python/R, Excel) 
• Excellent at data visualization and insight generation tools. 
• Excellent at breaking down problems into granular components and then devising solutions. 
• Proficient communicator with excellent storytelling abilities. 
• Open to learning new technologies.
