Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the goods receiving department's entire operation, which includes material receipt, quantity and quality control, scheduling anticipated deliveries, distributing received materials to various departments, stock maintenance, etc.
- Handling all DC logistics, maintaining inventory in the warehouse, communicating with suppliers, buyers, and other Metro officials regarding dispatches and deliveries, and MIS reporting.
- Handling the Inter Stock Transfers (IST) between distribution centers in the metro area
- Overseeing every aspect of a renowned internal software program known as GMS/SCS (Good Management System/Smart Complete System)
- Additionally Developing high net worth relationships with clients, managing the customer (supplier) service function, and upholding competitive service standards
- Accountable for overseeing all departmental operations and for organizing and implementing business strategies to meet the department's goals.
